This plan was created when our dog William had just had cancer surgery. We were going to different pet stores, trying to budget as much fresh and raw food as we could. Shopping herbal stores for supplements; picking up scripts from the vet. Then when it came time to feed, there was the chance we’d forget one thing or another, run out at different times, or William wouldn’t like the food we purchased.
When Charles started cooking for William, I had the idea to include everything he needed in the recipe. When we started talking about selling our food, we agreed we wanted to be the company we were not able to find: We are always available for any questions, we will exchange any recipe your dog may not like completely free, and we put our dogs & people before our profits & pride.

Plans are designed according to your dog’s specific needs, and recipes vary accordingly. We take into account common ailments of the breed, your dog’s age, weight and body type, allergies, preferences, current illnesses and medications (if any) and even seasonal factors.
This plan provides complete and balanced nutrition for all life stages including large breed growth. Nutrients are derived from natural sources where possible, with minimal, pure vitamins and/or minerals added when necessary to meet AAFCO guidelines for complete and balanced nutrition. Every ingredient Is cooked to its optimal degree for max absorption and ultimate health—giving your pup an extra 32 months of thriving life (on average, based on studies of diets containing at least 30% fresh foods vs. kibble alone) !!

In an effort to offer upfront pricing, your dog’s plan may need to be adjusted slightly according to their activity level and other factors. To better help you decide which option is right for you, the amount fed per day for each option is listed below. You can find your dog’s DER (Daily Energy Requirement) by checking out our blog post titled “Dog Food Math” or by giving us a call, or sending a message and we will do it for you!
Teacup (<12 lbs) = 4 oz per day or about 200 kcals - Available Here on a monthly delivery schedule
Small Dog (13-25 lbs) = 1 cup per day or about 400 kcals
S/M Dog (20-39 lbs) = 12 oz per day or about 600 kcals
Medium Dog (40-60 lbs) = 2 cups per day or about 800 kcals
Large Dog (60-80 lbs) = 3 cups per day or about 1200 kcals
XL Dog (80-100 lbs) = 4 cups per day or about 1600 kcals
This is a subscription product and will be a recurring charge until canceled. Cancellation, upgrades or downgrades can be done via your account page or by contacting us directly. To change feeding amount or update preferences please contact us directly— we are always available for our pack. You will be notified of your delivery date after purchasing, and your delivery days will most likely NOT coincide with payment dates. We ask that you please let us know of any changes to your plan at least 3 days prior to your upcoming delivery. Due to the custom nature of our service this helps to prevent wasted resources and is greatly appreciated.
William’s Paw to Paw" Guarantee - William is the official taste tester of Pup Plates (and the best dog ever, in our opinion) and gives final approval on every batch of food that goes out the door. And trust us, he has discerning taste! If for any reason your pup doesn’t like a recipe, we will exchange it for something different as soon as possible, and free of charge. We always strive to be the people, neighbors and company that we like to have ourselves; and that our dogs deserve. We welcome feedback, we will share our recipes and work with anyone who may need help feeding their pets right now.
